Jennifer K. Favorite holds a Ph.D. in art history from The Graduate Center, City University of New York (CUNY). Her research interests include public art in the U.S. after 1945, twentieth-century architecture, memorials in the U.S. and abroad, and the cultural and political uses of public space. Her work appears in Public Art Dialogue and the anthology Teachable Monuments: Using Public Art to Spark Dialogue & Confront Controversies (Bloomsbury Publishing, 2021).
