Public Art Portfolio Review

Public Art Dialogue Portfolio Review CAA, New York February 11, 1-6pm Saturday, February 12, 12-5pm Free to Public Art Dialogue Members Public Art Dialogue invites artists who are seeking guidance for careers in public art to apply for a Public Art Portfolio Review. Offered as a membership benefit of Public Art Dialogue, this is an excellent opportunity for graduate students, emerging artists, and established artists, who are seeking public art commissions, to be given feedback on their portfolios. Each artist will have a twenty-minute meeting with an experienced public art consultant, administrator, artist, or curator. Reviews are organized by Renee Piechocki, artist and public art consultant. The roster of reviewers includes: Shane Brennan, Creative Time; Charlotte Cohen, General Services Administration; Ellen Driscoll, artist; Kendal Henry, consultant; Jennifer McGregor, curator and consultant; Jodi Moise, consultant; Kelly Pajek, New York City Percent for Art Program; Sara Reisman, New York City Percent for Art Program; and Norie Sato, artist. The portfolio reviews will take place during the 2011 College Art Association Meeting in New York, Friday, February 11 from 1-5pm and Saturday, February 12 from 12-5pm. Please provide equipment necessary for your presentation. Our schedule for reviews is currently fully booked.
