The art collective fierce pussy will receive the 2019 Public Art Dialogue (PAD) Award for achievement in the field of public art. fierce pussy will accept the PAD Award on Thursday, February 14 as part of a ceremony and reception at the Leslie-Lohman Museum of Gay and Lesbian Art in conjunction with CAA’s 107th Annual Conference.
Monument Lab invites applications for the inaugural Monument Lab National Fellows Program, supported by a generous grant from the Surdna Foundation. This fellowship will support individuals around the country whose ongoing projects address long term inequities in monuments and engage new creative approaches to public art, history, and memory.
Applications are due Sunday, November 18, 2018.

Art Journal Open seeks 500-word responses for a Forum on Public Funding for the Arts and Humanities, convened by Sarah Kanouse, Jeremy Liu, Catherine Morris, and Mimi Thi Nguyen.
Moderated contributions will be posted to an online forum hosted by Art Journal Open. Some respondents may subsequently be invited to expand their text into a longer article.
