PAD Welcome

WELCOME to the Public Art Dialogue's third newsletter, and best wishes for a healthy and productive 2010.

As we gear up for Chicago and CAA's annual meeting, we have a rich array of programs, sessions, and art awaiting us. Please check times in this newsletter and the CAA program for our PAD sponsored session, roundtable, and business meeting culminating with the presentation of PAD’s second award for the achievement in field of public art.

At this year's business meeting, we will be discussing procedures for nominating future award winners, suggesting topics for future PAD panels, and sharing ideas for our journal. We are also on the lookout for books to review in the journal and feature in upcoming newsletters.

In addition, PAD is proud to announce that Routledge will publish our newly founded journal, Public Art Dialogue, beginning in 2011. Please see the Announcement section for further details.

We look forward to hearing from you, and seeing you in Chicago!

Thanks for joining us in the dialogue,
